In Germany we had a little uproar among the CC groupies when R. Scharnagl decided to go commercial after he also had his FRC program for free with all the beta testers in the amateur scene. The users felt cheated. Then Reinhard wrote, completely understandable, that he were surprised that people thought they could suck it all out for free as if he had no living to make. In my case I made a clear decision. If version one or zero is a free version and the whole community is engaged in testings more so when the new thing is a real sensation (see Ruffian) then I wont support the author with my buy if he runs commercial for version two or one. Because then he sees only his own interests but he forgets about all the motivated ants who had helped him to establish his first shot. The same in case of Rybka, but Fruit was the last example. I wont bite in all these cases. With Rybka the situation is absiólutely crazy because it has no GUI. So, for all this users take, I dont know, Fritz or Winboard? You know what this is? It's another form of the hyena capitalism who jumps from country to country and sucks out the absolute filet parts of the organism. In a way it is what Harold Pinter wrote in his Nobel Prize Speech about the USA at war all over the world.
