I'm sure you are right! But Rybka was furnished without an opening book and
that's the way I test it. Also I do intend to retest when an "official" book
becomes available. I see no purpose in giving it a book it does not
own/deserve. I made an exception with Toga II 1.1 because I believed it to be
closely related to Fruit (I let it use the Fruit book). In my opinion Toga is
only a personality of Fruit. Another benefit will be in finding the value of an
opening book later (I hope).
The bottom line so far is the program (Rybka) is very good even without an
opening book. Also if it becomes available commercially without an opening book
I will not purchase it because it is incomplete and of no further interest to
me. (It's my world and I'll do as I please :-))
Regards,
Jim
