The numbers indicate the number of empty squares before the next piece. This continues a rank at at time separated by the "/". At the end the "w" indicates white to move. The other at the end I'm not sure of. I think it indicates possible castling privledges and other unknows stuff. Most programs will supply the FEN for any given position. Maybe someone here can give you a web site for the FEN standard or explain better than I can.
