I guess that it is an accident. They would not intentionally annoy a giant pile of customers. People will just return things that they did not want to purchase. I cannot believe that a successful commercial entity would behave in that manner intentionally. The reason I say that is that it does not make any business sense for them to do it. It will not result in more successful orders for product. In the long run, it would certainly result in less successful orders.
