The problem is rather easy to handle. Create a macro/button for these moments.
For example, ICC software allows one to program buttons to send commands or
messages. The typical ones are "A min. Door." or "A sec. Phone.", but there is
no reason you can't make others such as "Min, baby is crying." or "Sec,
girlfriend/wife requires important shoe opinion", etc.
