Subject: Rybka and polyglot : setting playing style in polyglot.ini

Anyone have an idea of the proper sytax to set Rybka playing style via the
polyglot.ini configuration file?

I can see from the log file this hint:

< ENGINE option name Search Direction type combo default Very Positional var
Very Positional var Slightly Positional var Slightly Tactical var Very Tactical
< ENGINE uciok
> ENGINE setoption name Hash value 256
> ENGINE setoption name Search Direction value "Very Tactical"
> ENGINE isready

I had placed this in the .ini file:

Search Direction = "Very Tactical"

However, when I change this from "Very Tactical" to "Very Positional", the
results reported by the engine are identical (i.e. no variation in move chosen
at ply X or its eval. That leads me to believe that my attempt to set the
playing style has not succeeded.

Can someone shed some light on this for me?

Thanks,

Roy
