How can you learn much from so many engines, when one doesn't test the most prominent of the previous generation or two? Shredder 7.04 was in some ways, vastly stronger than Shredder 9. (so Shrdder 9 can NOT be representative of all Shredder versions till this day). S.Taylor I was refering to the fact that Shredder 7.04 was far stronger against Junior 9 in all tests, than was Shredder 9. Therefore Shredder 7.04 shares the Shredder representation with Shredder 9. And is the one other Shredder which can not be ignored in testing, until Shredder 10 matches the same results vs Junior 9 (or better....than Shredder 7.04, in which Shredder 9 was far behind, repeatedly) S.Taylor
