as previously discussed, fruit does not manage time well in blitz, especially the 2 12 (e.g., fritz 9 will use 3 extra minutes in the middle game and win). I have noticed, though, that if you do not use an increment (e.g., 30 0), fruit manages time in a very similar way to fritz 9. I have no systematic empirical support for this, other than my noticing that the time-left differences between fritz 9 and fruit 2.2. seem to be minimal at 30 0 time controls any other experiences?
