Some people are angry because they think that what Odell did is a personal attack. Personally I don't think it is worth getting worked up about, and I think a lot of the legalistic and philosophical arguments are really painful to read, especially posts that argue in favor of solipsism. It probably is a kid of some sort, but I think that most of the cheaters are probably kids of some sort. If it means anything, whoever it is gave their rating as 2200 when they registered. I know this because if you haven't played any games in a rating category, the number that is filled in in the rating column is the number you gave when you registered. The computer cheating thing on ICC seems to have gotten really awful. When looking through this particular guy's games, I noticed that he'd been beaten a couple of times, so I checked both of those accounts and they look like non-C computers too. bruce
