This is also a mystery to me Paulo, although I was a victim at Icc, I am now being victimized by certain members of this forum, for whatever reason. 2. I did not read Odell to cite the name of the person >who deceived him (if I will be missed, please correct me). > 3. I confirmed the simulation today. I appreciate the effort you made to investigate the game, Which is what this forum is for, your information was helpful to me. You and a few others responded to my post very positively. That Is why I post here for information on computer chess. It's sad that others could not do the same, but respond only with accusations to what was intended as simple curiosity. > 4. I imagine the idea that it was a child was started to gain sympathy for the cheater. However, whatever or not he was a child is really is irrelevant, especially since my goal in posting the original game and revealing the person's handle was not retribution. Certainly I was aware that this group has no power to affect decisions on ICC. Nor could my intentions have been to defame someone. Had that been the Case, My original Post would have read "Goldpawn cheats me on ICC", that's get Rid of these cheaters!!, Instead of "Will someone please analyze this Game"(suspected cheater) Which implies Suspicioun looking for confirmation, not condemnation. By revealing the person's handle I was simply sharing information so that the members could go to icc and investigate the games of the suspected cheater and evaluate for themselves. This was done only after doing a though investigation myself, and also relying on some of the comments of the experts here. Later Two indivisuals decided, that the interest of the cheaters on Icc was more important then the information that could be gathered about cheating, and thus we have the present perdicament. I can understand your confusion, I was confused myself, "thinking, Wait a minute! I am the victim here, yet I am being the one painted as the bad guy"! This whole ordeal sort of reminds me of the Present state of the American Justice system where the victims of Crimes are often interrogated and put on the defensive, and the rights of the criminals zealously protected at the expense of the victim. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [ Back to Message Board ] [ Filter Messages ------------------------------------------------------------------------
