It would be really interesting to see the winner of Tour De France to run a race with Michael Schumacher, both of them using own "hardware", just it would be senseless. I think that everything which is _software_ should be allowed (OS, opn. books, TBs, etc) but competitors should use equal hardware. It can be a 4 processor PC for example. If your engine uses only one proc, that's up to you. But if it's a competition of "chess machines" and not the engines itself, then of course hardware is not an issue. Robert
