Nunn-Test: We remember us, how it all begin! Year 1997, CSS Magazine would seen which program is the best without books! :-) Also make extra a GM Dr. John Nunn a neutrally Testset first. The name he gives him Nunn-Test. Other Programmer was "not lucky" with this test then in this time Fritz 5.00 was the best tactic-program, and the Test have many tactic Positions (see only the last variation with german: Bauernraubvariante in the Sizilian Opening ). The CSS says the is a Gambit. That is not sure but Ok! :-) In this Year 1997 Fritz 5.00 beats all other Engines, and the Magazine CSS says that this test is neutrally and from an Grandmaster and is the best way to test the Programs! Now after 9 Years, the test is newer the Best, why this? My Opinion: If Fritz beat all other engines then is the Test the best! :-) If Fritz losing then is a Test poor. :-) That is a Fact! In Fallow postings You can find 3 Rare pieces of games (safe you good in Your Database): Fritz 5.00 vs. Genius 5 Fritz 5 vs. Rebel 9 Fritz 5 vs. Mchess Pro 7 All this Machtes won Fritz 5.00 in Year 1997! Also it is a fact that this test is in Year 2005/6 the best - he is from a Grandmaster makes, and the best. And now fritz 9 are losing. That is Fact!
