Subject: Creation of a moderated usenet group?

This is my point. I think (and again, it's not an original idea) the creation of
a moderated usenet group would help tremendously. But I'm getting litle response
here even regarding interest in such a possibility. I really would like to see a
discussion take place on the matter, with an eye towards doing something.
Unfortunately, it seems many here just aren't very interested and I, for my
interest, am rather new to the usenet scene, so I don't know what I can do. And
thus my original post.

Incidentally, I saw either here or at rgcc someone post that Hyatt should
consider being a moderator. I can't disagree strongly enough! Hyatt has a career
AND does a tremendous amount of work on Crafty, not to mention all of the
assistance he gives to others. We don't need him taking on baby-sitter duties as
well.

(Pardon the spelling, please. My 't' key is giving me trouble. This weekend: a
new keyboard!)
