Some of the moderation decisions have bothered me. For example, A. Steen was moderated to death and Graham posted something on the Diep/Fruit/Leiden thread that I don't really think was necessary. I am a huge supporter of free speech. However, this is a club, as pointed out by the name "Computer Chess Club". The club is not particularly discriminatory - for example, we allow Uri to post here - but ultimately it is a private club and membership is NOT a right. I have really no tolerance for people that are both rude and ignorant. To use A. Steen again, he did a lot of flaming but at least he was funny and had interesting things to say. My previous paragraph takes a shot at Uri (I try to include one in every post) but its at least somewhat amusing and contains actual intellectual content. I have yet to see a post by Windsor that contained anything other than a junior-high level diatribe. anthony
