You are correct in that I _chose_ to run as a moderator. And you are correct in
that we do not get paid for doing this.

I _made it no secret that I WANTED to be a moderator, and trust me there have
already been times where I wished I kept my mouth shut. We continue however..

I don't pick on anyone here. Generally I let posts go until there is a moderator
email sent in. Other than that, I deem that everyone participating in a thread
is fine with what is going on with it. I do not have the time to read each and
every thread here, and how can I be expected to?

If you post something like "Hiarcs sucks", then please back it up with fact and
not fiction. Show some test positions, post a game or two.. just don't yell and
wave your hands in the air. ie. If you want to call me an idiot, atleast show
_why_ I am an idiot. I am a reasonable person.

If you read my moderation philosophy, I state very clearly that it is fine to
get into a heated discussion as long as an idea is being attacked and not a
person. If you can keep it along those guidelines, I am happy.

There have been _many_ moderator emails that came in requesting action against
this person or that thread, and we chose to do nothing because we felt there was
nothing wrong with what was going on.

Think of us moderators as quarterbacks playing in a game on Sunday, and you all
as the media the day after. We get one chance to make the right decision and
show why we did it, and you all have the rest of our "career" as a moderator to
slam us for it... :)

Damn straight it can be thankless.
