A standard RS232 serial cable will not work. A second problem you may have (I have it) is the newer computer may not have a serial port. The newer computers all seem to go to USB ports only. Therefore an old null modem cable will not work. There are "adaptor cables" with a driver CD/DVD that are supposed to connect a new USB port to make it appear as an old RS232 serial port but I have had no luck getting one to work. At the moment I'm stopped from running computer/computer matches except on my dual core AMD 64x2. If you solve this problem please let me know how? Jim
