Subject: How do I Connect two computers using a Null Modem Cable?

I have already connected The Null Modem Cable. One computer uses windows95 with
fritz5.32, the other is Athlon XP 2200 with fritz 5.32.  First how do I send
files from one computer to another? I have everything connected but how do i
verify that the two computers are connected? What program would I use to
comunicate from one computer to the other. The reason I'm doing this is that my
old computer doesn't have a floppy or Cd rom and is stuck with Windows95. I want
to upgrade it to 98 by transfer the setup files via Null modem cable. I also
hope that I can play fritz5.32 with the auto function
