Albert,

Vaclav Rajlich has not sold his program to Chessbase for distribution. If he
were to do so then he would write a contract that gives him continued ownership
and distribution rights of his program. He could sell 100 times as many programs
if Chessbase put his program on disk. Even if he got only 1/5th as much money
per sale he would make twenty times as much money than were he to sell his own
product. I think that it is inevitable that such a deal will occur sometime next
year.
