One very useful option of the new forum is the "ToDo" button which stores a list of those posts which you want to remember. You can use it to keep a personal list of posts you plan to reply to later or just want to remember and come back to at a later time. This is much more convenient than printing posts or saving them to your hard disk. You have to be logged in, of course, to use this feature (read the instructions on how CCC users can obtain a password). These days it is getting rare that web pages can be saved to disk and then viewed in a format similar to the original page. A web page is no longer an isolated entity but depends on other information, such as CSS definitions, to be viewed properly. However, if you log into the forum you can choose "Options" and change the "Style" to "NoCSS" and after that you should be able to save the page to disk and view the saved page in a browser (tested in IE 6, Win XP SP2). I don't know why your files are saved with a PL extension. What browser and operating system are you using?
