My program, EXchess, is another freeware winboard engine.

It is at www.astro.brandeis.edu/BRAG/people/dch/chess.html

When you run it, be sure to use the command line option "xb" under
winboard.  This is necessary even under the new Winboard. (The readme
file says the the "xb" should not be necessary, but there is a small
bug that requires it under some circumstances...)
