Hello Chesscomputerfriends! As I described in this Forum on the 15th of December and earlier I'm making a new Ratinglist based on 15 openingpositions. 10 of these are known from the CSS-Ranglist (for further information check this website www.computerschach.de), here are the 5 new openingpositions: C30 = Kings Gambit (1.e4,e5 2.f4) E17 = Queenindian (1.d4,Sf6 2.c4,e6 3.Sf3,b6 4.g3,Lb7 5.Lg2,Le7) B02 = Scandinavian (1.e4,d5 2.exd5) D35 = Orthodox Queens Gambit (1.d4,d5 2.c4,e6 3.Sc3,Sf6) A57 = Modern Ben Oni (1.d4,Sf6 2.c4,c5 3.d5) 450 Games are played so far. It's time to see how the new openingpositions are doing and which engines who are performing best in each opening. Here comes the current dates: Kings Gambit: White-score: 40% Black-score: 60% Queenindian: White-score: 46,67% Black-score: 53,33% Ben Oni: White-score: 65% Black-score: 35% Scandinavian: White-score: 56,67% Black-score: 43,33% Orthodox Queens Gambit: White-score: 56,67% Black-score 43,33% And here you can see which engine made the highest score so far in each opening: WHITE: Kings Gambit: Fritz 9 70% Queenindian: Toga II 1.1 80% Ben Oni: Fritz 9 100%(!) Scandinavian: Toga II 1.1 80% Orthodox Queens Gambit: Fritz 9 and Fruit 2.2.1 each 70% BLACK: Kings Gambit: Shredder 9 90% Queenindian: Fruit 2.2.1 and Shredder 9 each 80% Ben Oni: Fritz 9 70% Scandinavian: Ktulu 7.5 70% Orthodox Queens Gambit: Shredder 9 70% I don't see any big surprises in these statistis dates with the exception of Ktulu 7.5's great performance with the black pieces in Scandinavian. It's also worth mentioning the dominant position of Fritz 9 in Ben Oni (a total score of 85%). The Spike 1.0a Mainz test have been running for a couple of days and so far Spike is having a hard time. The current score is around 38% and very close to that of Loop List. The test will be done in app. 5 days and I'll post the result and the new ranking here in the forum. After that the Hiarcs 10 test will start. Best regards Per
