Hi henrick, I know the scandanavian is solid, and a good alterantive (indeed, if you take away an engine's book, they will usually play it)....but soemthign always stops me from playing it....I don't know. It is kind of like the black piece player is saying "me have big piece (the queen). Me hit you with it". I know this is not a criticism of the opening :). I am thinking maybe the caro kann is viable.
