Nonsense. Rating is very important to a chess player. It motivates him to study chess, and concentrate on his weaknessses. The cheating bastards who have the attitude of "who cares" are often pathetic players. They should be thrown out from chess servers. No one would miss them. The offer nothing but spoil the servers.
