I think he broke the rules and it is possible to break the rules while telling
what one thinks is the truth if you use insulting language.

I remember one post where he said essentially "Rybka sucks".

A.  That's not the truth.
B.  That is insulting.

I am not sure if he got banned for that post - but he clearly deserved to be
banned IMO.
