SMP alone should be good for at least 30 elo. Also Fruit is the youngest of the top engines and Fabian has an amazing ability to improve the engine quickly without new bugs. Rybka is an interesting new engine (new to most of us) and it will be interesting to see how it continues to develop. It will need to continue to improve in 06 to stay on top though as I expect may engines to make big jumps and I would not be surprised to see new competition come along as well. The authors of Glaurung and Scorpio seem like good candidates to pull a Vas on us but who knows who will come along. I expect SMK to improve Shredder a lot too. This is defiantly a great time for computer chess. Ryan
