Thanks for your concern Karinsdad,

There's a rule in chess tournaments, if a player withdraws after 2 rounds the
results he had do not count, but after that they do. Barlay withdrew after 4
rounds.
As for USCF or computer pairing programs, I assume the USCF ruling is as above
and I don't know about tournament pairing software.

It's a pity, my game against Anderson was a real crush, so much so that another
participated said "He got sick after that game and he will be sick all his life"
LOL

Anyway I'm planning to play in the Chicago Open coming up and at the end of June
my first closed GM Tournament (in Australia). I'm hoping to get an IM norm, but
hoping even more I don't get my butt kicked by everyone..:(

I'll be using Chessbase to prepare (find games of my opponents), and if I have
time maybe Bookup to drill some openings.
