CEGT has split for personal reasons that will not be discussed here. I assume that Kirill Kryukov will build and lead another team. So there will be probably two groups in the future, hopefully to the best for computer chess enthusiasts. CEGT proceeds with a smaller number of members, concentrating more on fun and tournaments than on statistics, although we will probably base on the collected data. We do not resign, because it is just too interesting what happens in computer chess and will come with new ideas. One is to have a best version only database and correspondent ratinglist without distortions. Still to be discussed all. Best Regards Heinz
