I agree, but I consider this part of a players strength. Will he have the drive
to win even when it means nothing. I think the better players like Kasparov and
Anand have this drive.

This is one advantage a chess program will always have over a human player, they
always play to win, and never lose heart when down in a match. As seen in the DB
Kasparov match not even the great Kasparov is immuen to the pressure that a
non-feeling computer can put on you.
