The GUI does it, but it does it in a way that is not really used by the engine.
For the engine to be able to correctely use EGTB's it has to use the EGTB in its
evaluation of positions and be able to probe the EGTB and change its evaluation
accordingly.  That is totally different than ending up with a certain position
that is already in the EGTB which the GUI will then take over.
