Pablo wasn't given time odds. They both played legal moves. Pablo had white, but that shouldn't matter too much in the "fairness" department. I guess the only thing that would make this match any more fair would be to allow the engine to not play with a buggy GUI or to have zero lag, but that seems rather hard to do on an internet server like Playchess. Any more suggestions? Merry Christmas, etc.
