Hey chesscomputer friend, this is just the announcement that by today the strongest ever online chesscomputer tournament has been started @ http://www.schachcomputer.info. We are playing with 32 machines in 4 groups and subsequent last sixteen (best of 4), quarter final (best of 6), semi final (best of 6) and last but not least the final with best of 8. Almost each top chesscomputer machine (except of the R40) incl. two Resurrection versions is participating, the average ELO (based on our active chess list) is around 2150! The time setting is for speed chess, means 30 sec/move. Everybody is invited to follow the games live on the very tiny chessgate server (http://www.chessgate.de). There is either a Java Applet running or you can choose the client installation. The actual tournament and the games for download are available on the schachcomputer.info homepage shortly after the game has been finished. see you soon regards Stefan
