In the following position, fruit and fruit derivatives (e.g., toga 1.1.) think that black has a strong advantage 1) e4 d5, 2)exd5, qxd5 3) nc3 qa5; 4) d4, c6; 5) nf3, nf6 6) bd2, qb2 In contrast, Rybka sees it as a small advantage to equal. Why this big difference? It is probably safe to assume that rbyka is more accurate (given it is the better engine, and IM martin recommends this line). If so, why would you say fruit is misevaluating? A second question: As the comps get better and better, should we expect evaluations to converge? Will we get to the point where programs more or less agree on the evaluation of a position (adjusting maybe +-.20 for engine personality) best Joseph
