Because of the name "Players", teen-age girls from across the U.S. and worldwide would call up because of their interest in the name. Some of them were very bold on the phone. It was hysterical. I don't recall any outrageous conversations their mothers would be angry about, but listening to Rainer and Sergio try to make sense of the teen mind made for a good belly-laugh. I still have a nice wooden chess set he sold me and feel I got a decent price for it. I lost a rook from it at Laguna Beach about 15 years ago and one of the guys there returned it to me 2 years later so the set it still intact. Maybe some day my kids can learn chess but I question whether to teach it to them since it's been a monster black hole for my life. Stuart
