You can find it at http://www.research.digital.com/SRC/personal/Tim_Mann/Standard Tablebases are files which contain the theoretical value of endgame positions which are indexed on them. For example, a KPK tablebase usually tells you, for any position in which white has a king and a paw and black has a lone king, if the position is a draw, a win for black (there are not wins for black in this ending but in others there might be some), or a win for white, and in this last case it usually includes a distance to mate (how many moves are required to deliver checkmate) or a distance to conversion (how many moves are required to promote the pawn). There are some tablebases which contain less information, to save space.
