I have Deep Shredder for the Mac, which should be very similar. The Java GUI is
pretty but has limited functionality. I use polyglot to interface the engine to
either xboard (for ICC games and analysis) or Scid, both of which work just
fine. Running on four processors, Deep Shredder 9 is very strong indeed.
