Naw, it's the DeeperBlue phenomena.  They know they are strong as an ox, but
tremble in fear at losing the mystique, since they would be very likely to lose

Sure, but the tragedy here is that nobody gets to eat this new, 'sliced'
thingy/miracle.  We all have to cut our own bread with a knife because that new
'sliced bread' innovation is not available.  We've heard rumors about this whole
'pre-sliced' idea and even know of people who have reportedly seen it.  But most
of us just wonder what a loaf of pre-sliced bread might look like.
