Hello Maid,

in CEGT generic opening books are used for all engines, mainly those pregiving
around 8 moves. One favourite is the Harry Schnapp 440 test suite. But also
Perfect books by Sedat, 8move.ctg, 5move.ctg, remis.ctg, Noomen and Nunn 1 and 2
complete positions were used in the past. When using bigger books like
Powerbooks or Master Elect, we generally also limit to 8 moves.

Best Regards
Heinz
