Perhaps...but it is the weakest excuse I have ever seen.
Actually it isn't an apology at all.
First I use big parts of Fruits source and offer it as my own.
Then I deny I have used Fruit sources and as all this did not
help, I tell 'could be'(?) parts of it(Fruit) were
protected(but how could I know at that time?).

Why not just release another Fruit based clone? No one would
have complained. The Fruit-based 'fans' in Germany would
have loved it(as usual).
