Also as i remember they said it was somewhat related on "share and setting permissions for folders" and that the install (that didn't work for me) wanted to have access to a folder that the WindowsXP user i was currently using, didn't allowed to have access to. I don't really remember what folder i've enabled the "share this folder with other users" option of XP but i hope you can try something useful...... After combining the deletion of the contains of temp folders and giving persmission to a folder i remember that it worked....I hope this is your case too although i can't give you concrete directions of what you should do, only some general hints.....
