Here is the answer to your question. On your hard drive, you should have a directory/folder which contains both ChessProgram8.exe and IUpgrade.exe in this same directory/folder. First find this directory/folder. The second step is to do what Michael Byrne has recommended in his post on 12/21: make a copy of the entire directory/folder in case you don't like the results of the GUI upgrade. The third step is to place the 9.4 MB file, gui8.iup, into the same directory/folder that contains these two programs. The final step is to run the IUpgrade.exe program. Phillip
