The trouble with quick chess is that too much of it makes you think superficially, ie, play for quick tactics rather than play your game and play strategically. If you put your wins through a strong computer you will find that although you won, it was only because your opponent played even worse than you did. It's true that it forces you to think quick, and therefore will give you an advantage in a time scramble, but overall it will deteriorate your game
