I am a member of both ICC and Chess.net, both with the same handle. My ICC rating is consistently about 100 to 150 points below my Chess.net rating. Maybe this can be explained by this 'task-switching' facility that Chess.net has.I'm simply playing more cheats on ICC than Chess.net. This being the case, why does'nt ICC include 'task-switching' notification in their software? I'll remain as a member of both, because ICC is great for watching GM's in action, and has a fantastic interface, Blitzin 2.15 in particular.
