Bear in mind that although Rybka is beating all-comers in games, at the moment it still has idiosyncrasies or downright bugs in analysis - in the endgame, when mate is involved, etc. Shredder, on the other hand, is a mature, proven analysis engine that has always been at or very near the top. Both engines will have new versions coming out sooner or later, and the competition beween them will continue.
