A lay is not an expert. But a lay has his ideas. So as I have mine. While reading a message from Albert S. I had a day dream. I am a smart programmer and I am interested in chess. I like computerchess. But actually I dont have a program on my own. But I have this *routine*. My routine reveils all the secrets of the famous programs of these times. I can exactly see how, where, why and if FRITZ prefers the B over the N. I see where he misunderstands K-safety. I am a lot better than FRITZ for these patterns. Ok. Let's see. I write some code for these points. DONE! Now I take a look at some JUNIOR and also SHREDDER. Omigod, dont ask me to tell you what I can see! Did you ever understand how Michelangelo made his David? No? Well, I know it. Period. I took a couple of lines from the code of the famous Thomas G. (Germany). That gave me a plus of appr. 40 Elo points. Some Crafty, something out of HYDRA!! Oh, well, these Arabs. If they knew my routine! I can make my program speak the Arab in less than 5 minutes. It's all in the routine. What I will do next is, I encrypt all my code with a routine so that even the CIA couldnt decrypt it with all the hardware they had and with a thousand years of processor time. So, my program is the only one that couldnt be decrypted. It's safe. You want to know its name? I told you before. It's 'Rolf - The Thunder', probably out in January 2006, Elo 3450! So that makes some 50 points from every single top notcher of these days. Rybka included. What I did was mainly avoiding the bugs which are integral part of every existing program. The moment I'll found the bugs of The Thunder, it will hit the 5000 Elo barrier. - I have a question. How much it would cost to make my dream come true?? Could I succeed? Where is the problem? My routine will solve all the problems, my friends, believe me! What a wonderful Chrismas, which made me such a beautiful dream! Rolf
