I'm against the credit card idea. US$5 is small peanuts, and i wouldn't mind paying it, but i don't have a credit card, and don't intend to get one. For people outside the USA (which i guess is where ICD is based?) there is also a small extra hassle (and extra bank charges) in paying money internationally. At least it's a small extra hassle here in Australia. I'm sure there are countries with some computer chess people where it would be a big extra hassle.
