I agree and I have also done something about it:

You should get a password and log on to see how the forum keeps track of both
new and unread messages.

Of course threads with new posts show up at the top of the list. This forum has
an excellent search engine (see instructions under "Searching") and chess
diagrams where you can move the pieces.
