as enrico told in another posting, the BOOK usage in Fritz9 has a bug (feature?)
too.

so if you would only use engine+book of h10 in f9 you should use a patch version
to fix this "bug".

its very difficult to create a chessbase GUI out of the many efforts they
published that has NO bugs.

most of those bugs decrease the playing strength of the engines, especially the
UCI engines. so it is no cosmetic problem, its a serious problem.

but i am sure the marvellous and plenty programmers in the chessbase company are
working very hard on the problem and it is only a matter of a few ...years until
the last serious bugs get fixed and you will get a working GUI that makes it
possible to test chess programs as it should. at least i am hoping. after all
those years. after dozens of GUIs they produced. it seems to be a pretty
difficult task to make a non standard-GUI that finally works.
