You may try Queen (http://home.planet.nl/~ammeraal/)
and set the computer's thinking time very low, say, 1s per move.
If desired, you can then increase Queen's strength simply
by increasing the thinking time (using Options | Time control...).
The user's thinking time is unlimited.
