My impressions are the following: Rybka is extremely strong at short and long time controls. I believe that it can be made even stronger with better time management. For example in many instances in a 5 minute game, Rybka would still have 4 minutes while the other engine would be trying to scramble with few seconds on its clock. With better time management I would think Rybka can play even stronger. I also noticed that Rybka while playing like an experienced GM in the opening stage and the middle game, can play amazingly weak in the endgame. I have seen many games that should easily be won get lost or drawn due to this. I realize this is a known issue and once fixed Rybka will really be a monster. Even with all it's shortcomings it can at the moment make other engines look like patzers.
