Hello Fernando, Queen is not one of the strongest chess engines, and, since I am probably one of the oldest active chess programmers, the chances are that Queen will never reach the top, or maintain a good position on a rating list for a great many years. This may explain why I am "so scarcely known in the area of chess computers", as you put it. Recently, Queen did very well in the 3rd Division of WBEC, Ridderkerk (http://wbec-ridderkerk.nl/) and had a good start in ChessWar, division VIIID (http://loirechecs.chez-alice.fr/chesswar/Chesswar008D11.htm). As for your final question, well, this is hardly the place to write an autobiography. So I will only give some facts: I was born in 1937 and I became a programmer in 1960 and have programmed ever since, mainly in mathematically on orientated applications and systems programming. I have never been a strong chess player (although I tried, mainly using some books of Dr. Max Euwe as a basis). You may find some more about publication of mine using Google. Best wishes, Leen Ammeraal
